In Journey Back to Oz, Dorothy is Back home in Kansas and is dreaming
of "A Far away Land." Aunt Em believes that Oz is not a real place.
A Tornado hits the Kansas farm and blows Dorothy and Toto back to Oz.
Dotrothy wakes up in a grassy, flowery meadow with beautiful plants
and trees. She says to Toto "You know what? I don't think we're in
Kansas at all." Then all of a sudden. She sees the Yellow Brick Road
and is very excited wants to find the Scarecrow right away. She,
along with Toto run into a crossroads that has a sign post pointing
Emerald City in 3 different ways. The signs he just can't make up his
mind. Dorothy picks a way to go. she skipping along, trips and falls
down into a haunted forest. She then encounters Pumpkinhead. The evil
Witch, Mombi lives around there and she was the one who created
pumpkinhead. Her cat is out and about and Toto chases it to Mombi's
house. This leads Dorothy right into the house. Mombi captures her and
goes to get some fire wood for her magic potion of green elephants. She
is planing on having the elephants ruin the Emerald City. Pumpkinhead
saves Dorothy while Mombi is gone. They run into Woodenhead, a carousel
horse. He goes with them to warn the Scarecrow about what Mombi plans
to do. When they get there, The Scarecrow helps out but is soon captured by Mombi. Toto is also captured. Now Dorothy, Pumpkinhead, and woodenhead travel to Tin Land to find the Tin Man. He says he can't help. Then they go to the Lion.
He to cannot help them when he finds out about the magic elephants.
Coming to the rescue, Glinda gives Dorothy a little silver box, and
tells Dorothy not to open it unless she's in serious danger and in the
Emerald City. While Mombi and her elephants are attacking, Dorothy
opens the box...thousands of tiny white mice come pouring out of the
box. The magc mice break Mombi's spell and all is well in the Emerald
City! Woodenhead is appointed Royal Steed and Dorothy is sent home by
magical tornado whirled up by Glinda. Dorothy is now back in Kansas
hugging her Aunt Em and Uncle Henry. The End.
