Here's what started it all... L. Frank Baum - (1856 - 1919) He was born in Chittenango, NY. As young as his teens, Baum began reporting for the New York World. He also published a town's newspaper in Pennylvania. He was n actor and he also wrote plays. 1990 he published the biggest sensation on the planet - The Wonderful Wizard of Oz. Soon after, he went on writting 13 sequels to Oz.

		OZ??? Baum came up with the name of the magical land by seeing a cabinet that had one section labeled A - N, and another labeled O-Z. Which would be Oz!
		Where can I find these books??? Find and read about these other books at your local library... They usualy have some of them. Also you can order them online. I highly recommend Amazon! Borders usually carries most of the series.
